About Me
I'm a software engineer specializing in regulated fintech infrastructure. I'm based in Philadelphia, PA, and I owe much of my career to going deep on hard problems in systems that move real money.
I started out building iOS apps and teaching myself the full stack, eventually publishing a GraphQL course through Manning Publications that helped developers adopt a technology that was just hitting its stride.
After cutting my teeth on web development, I joined DriveWealth as a Principal Engineer, where I built trading infrastructure and compliance systems that powered brokerage platforms serving millions of users. That work put me at the intersection of distributed systems and financial regulation. I never left.
I moved to Altruist, where I now architect systems for the trading platform that underpins a growing RIA custodian.
Away from the terminal, I'm raising a family, and spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about paleoanthropology and what the deep past can teach us about the present.
This is where I share what I'm learning and making. If you're working on something interesting or just want to chat, reach out.
